What constitutes as commercial?
Any video that is used to promote a product, service or business is commercial. If your clients are businesses, and you'd like to use Animoto as the video content provider for your clients' marketing, advertising or website, your will need to purchase an account on their behalf.
Is the license price per package an annual fee?
Yes, the listed prices above are for annual pricing. We only do bulk licensing for the annual package.
If we have multiple users in our company, how does this work? Do we each sign up for a separate account?
ince sharing an account between multiple people within an organization is prohibited, we can either create a Master account (after the appropriate number of licenses have been purchased) that all employees can use, or we can set-up a code that lets employees activate and manage their own business accounts at their convenience.
Do bulk licenses need to be purchased all at once to get the discount, or can they be purchased over time?
Either way works. Purchasing a larger volume in bulk will result in a greater discount. However, we can certainly invoice you at the discounted rate on a rolling basis as well.
Is each license a separate account, or can they be managed from a single account?
You can do either. If managing your business clients' videos under one Master account works best for you, we can most certainly accommodate that. Alternatively, if you'd like separate accounts set-up for your business clients, or a code that lets your clients/employees to active and manage their accounts at their convenience, we can do that as well.
My business clients need just one video. Can I purchase individual videos for them instead of licenses?
If you know you'll need only one video for a high volume number of clients, please write to licensing@animoto.com, and we can provide a quote.
I run a business directory site. What if the videos will be used solely on my site?
This still constitutes as commercial usage - no matter how restrictive the videos will be used. Each listed business on your site will need a license purchased on their behalf.
